Question Tortola - Virgin Gorda Ferry Question

We are going on the Pearl for two back-to-back cruises starting on 2/27/10. We were on a similar cruise in 2008 and loved our excursion to the Baths at Virgin Gorda. When we went before, we took Speedy's Ferry from Tortola to VG. They had a package deal that included the ferry, a taxi (truck) to the beach and return. I think that it cost about $30 at the time.

I just checked their website and I see now that the package includes a lunch at the Turtle Club (I think that is the name) at the top of the hill above the Baths.

I wanted to see if anyone from this forum has utilized this package recently and what they thought of the deal.

The concern that I have based on the info in their website is that they show the ferry coming back from VG at 3:30PM and the Pearl is scheduled to leave at 3:00PM. I did write directly to Speedy's but have not heard back from them.

Please let me know if you used one of the other ferry services as well.

Thanks for any advice,

did not do the package with lunch but did do the package with the ferry etc. If it is the same restaurant, we ate there, it was OK, not great but OK.

The bar at the top of the Baths is called "Mad Dog". Not sure but I think the Turtle Club might be a different restaurant.
