We did this cruise last June and it was great. The ship was clean and the food was very good (our opinion ). The cabins and balconies are a little small but you don't spend that much time in the cabin.
Enjoy Bermuda it's a great island.

if he loves you, he will love cruising

Bermuda is a very romantic island for couples and the cruise should be very romantic also, so I think he will be very happy..make sure you not only plan activities together but also one or two apart that represents different interest

We have sailed on the Spirit twice once to mexico and the other time to the
southern caribbean. Both times I would have to say the ship was very clean
last year they were changing all of the bedding out new mattress etc.
We also found the food to be very good in the regular dining rooms, we also
tried the extra cost ones and would have to say that we found el Bistro very good
and Cagney's as well. Rooms are smaller than some other lines but we were never in our's very much except to sleep and change clothes. Have a great cruise.

Yes, we really like the Spirit in spite of the smaller cabins. The bathrooms are wonderful, the ship very clean and pretty and the choice of dining rooms a plus. We too love Le Bistro.

We have been on the Spirit twice and did the Boston to Bermuda cruise last August. It was a great cruise!
I personally love the Spirit. The cabins are a bit small but the ship is beautiful in my opinion. We are fans of freestyle dining so this is a big plus especially when you are docked in Bermuda. No need to rush back for assigned dinner times and tables.
Enjoy the ship and Bermuda.

The family and I are cruising to Bermuda aboard the Spirit in June, too.
Just made the final pyt. -- woohoo!

I hear the Pub Crawl is fun. It'll be listed in the daily.

When in June are you sailing? W'll be on the June 4th cruise which features the Reminiscents-----a local oldies band from the Boston area. They are great.

I have done the Boston/Bermuda Cruise twice before aboard the Majesty. That was a smaller ship which could fit through the cut into St. George. The Spirit is larger and docks in Kings Wharf. This will be my first trip on the Spirit, and I am looking forward to it.

DH and I did Spririt 2006 out of NYC 8 or 9 days. Great cruise. Ship is small in comparison to CCL and the Dawn but the ship was clean, the crew members that had transferred from the Dawn to the Spirit actually remembered us (how with that many travelers). Thought the bathroom was small but all right, balcony very small. Pool larger than CCL, lap pool was COLD, but not a big issue. Food great. Bermuda is my favorite island, have a fantastic time!
