NCL spirit Boston to Bermuda July 23rd

Hey guys I am going to be booking my cruise within the next two weeks. Never been on a cruise before. I've read about the Ship on here and am hearing great things and can't wait. Just have a couple questions. I'm planning on buying the deluxe romance package. Has anyone done this and is it worth it(For my girlfriend anyway)? Another question is whats the best excursions once i get to Bermuda? i plan on doing glass-bottom boat, snuba, some kind of snorkeling (which one is best?), and the st. george cove adventure (is this worth it?). Also whats the romantic ones i can do with my girlfriend?

Thanks and im sure i will have more later

sounds like you are doing your homework. yes, even at $135.00 the romance package is worth it, especially if it will make girlfriend happy. I don't know about tours, you may want to wait until you get to Bermuda and see what is available.

Welcome to CruiseMates, many of us enjoy giving advise and asking questions. It is a great way to learn from those who have experienced cruising..

Bermuda

Lucky you!!! In Bermuda I would recommend buying a three day bus/ferry pass and it will take you to the Crystal Caves, downtown Hamilton, the beaches, etc.. The Helmet Dive is quite the experience..and I discovered that some excursions can only be done through the ship so I would check around. Since Bermuda is only 19 miles wide.. you can do much of the island by yourself and be sure to stop into Swizzle Inn near St. George for a pitcher of Rum Punch, their fabulous fish sandwiches and chicken wings... and listen to the Bermuda Symphony (the ambulances going by).. Dinner Le Bistro should be a romantic evening..A horse and buggy ride I believe has to be done through the ship..One of the great things about this cruise is that it actually sits in Bermuda for three days.. BTW don't miss the sail away barbecue on deck with fabulous ribs
