Thinking of NCL Spirit in October out of New Orleans. As far as a balcony goes, starboard or port, aft or bow? And isn't that pretty much at the end of hurricane season? thanks for the input.

Hi tracyd
we have sailed on the spirit twice, once out of new orleans. The aft
balconies are usually every one favorites as they seem to be a bit
bigger than the ones port of starboard, i'm not sure about ones in the bow.
Yes october is the end of hurricane season, most of our cruises have been
in october and only once have we had bad weather then it was only
rough seas not storms. We have been on 7 cruises and are looking forward
to an eastern carb. This fall. Happy sailing.
When you board the ship the starboard balconies will be facing the piier.
But when you sail the ship turns so the French Quarter, Chalmette Battleground, etc. will be off the port side.
You reenter the river after dark so it really won't matter then.
