Nassau Shore Excursions/Shopping

Anyone have any suggestions for things to do while in Nassau?

We are on the EPIC in Jan 2012.

I was on the Epic last Halloween,and really enjoyed the ship. In Nassau, you can go over to the Atlantis, see The Dig, and, the Aquarium. Enjoy the shops and gamble.

Shop on Bay Street with the straw market and lots of shops or do an island tour, to get the lay of the land. I enjoy this port.

Oh I forgot...as you exit the ship,an walk down the pier, you will then enter a terminal filled with local crafts people.

A shopping/dining area that can be easily overlooked is Marina Village just outside of Atlantis on the marina side.

We loved the horse & buggy ride, located just outside the terminal building.

I loved The Fish Fry Arawak Cay where the locals eat, great sea food on the water front, and Ardastra Gardens the zoo, is an excellent small zoo where you get up close and personal with the animals. They have a trained flamingo show and you can feed the lory parrots check for times!
