Smile Anyone Stayed in #10000 on the Gem?

I just booked my first cruise yesterday afternoon, leaving next June on the Norwegian Gem. I've booked Suite #10000.

I was reading a post somewhere about someone being in one of the front rooms like that one and that you can't open your balcony door while the ship is moving, only while it's in port. But then another post said that you can.

So just wondering if anyone on here has stayed in this room or the equivalent of it and what your experience was and if I have made a mistake by booking a room in the front of the ship.

Thanks everyone!
