Default Breakaway Deck plans on NCL site

NCL has just put up the deck plans for the Breakaway. Not everything is filled in yet.

I know that a deck that can breakaway is not the meaning of the words breakaway deck to describe the new see the ocean deck, but I think that it can make a few people may wonder if NCL has a deck that can make departure from the ship easier. This is written with tongue in check.

I just read the article that Paul had written.I really like the idea of opening up the promenade deck to resturants and lounges. I espesicaly like the outside seatting. To me this is what cruising should be like. Not just a big box floating on the ocean. With state rooms stacked like prison cells. We will hopefully be sailing on one of these ships .And hopefully this will set a trend for ship designer in the future.

As I said earlier, and this now confirms it, NCL has taken what was good about Epic and incorporated it into Breakaway and they have taken what is bad about Epic and flushed it.

I am happy to see that the cabin sizes are decent and "The Wave" design is gone though it looks like the cabins are a bit irregular but appealing. The size of the mini-suites is exceptional. The current mini-suites on Epic are a joke because of their size. They are around 200 sq. ft. with balcony.

I am very excited about NCL getting back on track and I will be sailing Breakaway soon after her first sailing.

Take care,
Mike

Even for a cruise newbie like me, the photos and plans I have seen so far really make me want to book in 2013!

It looks like they have eliminated the "open toilet" issue on the Breakaway! Is true? Non?

I think they have. It makes sense that they would change the one item that got the most negative reviews.
