Ncl ipo
I dont really follow NCL, what do ya'all think of the NCL IPO which is hitting mid next week?
Moderators if Im not allowed to ask here, just move my thread.
My first NCL cruise, the Epic is not scheduled until 2014.
I dont know if etrade, who I use is offering it at the pre IPO price.. or even if I would want to buy it.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/travel...e-ipo/1818743/
Showing a price set between $16 and $18 per share. Who thinks its a buy?

P/E 20 seems reasonable. Wondering why they want to raise 400million; expansion or to cash out.

I dont know what kind of growth prospects NCL has vs RCL or CCL or if they would offer OBC for owning stock.
I've heard for a while they wanted to go public, but they were never clear to me why they wanted to raise the money?? Cash in hand is good?

They said they are going to use the funds to pay down debt.

CCL (Carnival) P/E Ratio is 22
RCL (Royal Caribbean) P/E is 17
Norweigen P/E of 20 seems to be in line. But I think I would rather put my money on the other 2 lines. Presently own RCL.

I'll be watching it anyway, to see if it holds the price or not. After facebook selling off it's IPO pricing, people are a lot more wary. You used to assume the pre IPO pricing would be a good deal, not any more.
