Hey everybody. So I'm going on a 7 night Norwegian epic cruise this summer in the Med. with my family, there is eight of us. I'm seventeen and I have another relative coming with me who is 16. I've only been on a cruise once before and I would like to know:
does 7 nights sound too short for a cruise?
is the Norwegian epic fun for teens?
will there be other 17 year olds? (last cruise I was on I noticed there were hardly any 16 and 17 year olds in the teen club)
Whether 7 nights is too short for a cruise is a personal matter. Some people think 4 nights is too long! Personally, we only prefer cruises that are at least 10 to 12 nights. 7 nights just happens to be more preferred, especially by families, because that's the normal vacation time people have.
And yes, the Epic is geared towards families, so there are areas for teens. And because it's Summer, there will be more teens onboard than at other times of the year.
I think you'll enjoy this ship.

And many days spent in all-inclusive resorts!
In general, the number of passengers in any group...age group....or whatever, is pretty random. I have been on cruises where I did the same ship and same time period twice and one time was kiddy land and the next was mostly older to elderly. Summer is likely to have more teens on board, but go with the attitude of having fun no matter what. That way, you can't be disappointed and any other teens will be quick to find you.
