Default Taking a tour of the ship?

Both my wife and I are taking our first cruise on the Norwegian Gem leaving NY on 9/14/13. I was curious if they give tours of the ship, would love to see it all to include where the staff live while aboard.

Due to security, some things that used to be available, to passengers, are now out of bounds. The crew quarters would never be open for viewing at any time. Call your travel agent, and, see if this ship offers a tour of the kitchen.

Trip, with her book & tea!
