Dining Hours

Booked on a May trip out of Barcelona, and can't wait. (Have only cruised once, with Viking (FABULOUS!), and this trip is our DREAM trip.) Just curious - How late can you eat lunch? If you go on some of their shore excursions, it looks like you won't be back until after lunch, yet they don't include lunch. Also, what are the dinner hours, assuming you just eat in the main restaurant? Can you show up any time during dinner hours, or do they want everyone to show up at the same time?

My group is booked for the April 23 Rome to Barcelona cruise of the new Insigna. Can't wait.

You can show up at the main dining room at any time you want between their open hours. I can't recall what the open hours for the main dining room are for lunch
( something like 12 to 2 ).
If you get back at about that time from a tour the buffet will usually still be open . ( I think it was open until 2:30.
Then there is always room service which is available 24 hours.
One thing is always for certain...one will never starve on a cruise ;-)
P.S. We are going on May Barcelona to Venice too!!!!!

The Grill (near the pool) seems to be open all afternoon. The place to go after a long shore excursion. Hot dogs, hamburgers, salads and suprisingly great french fries.
