what is the weather like when crossing from SA to Europe in April?

Some have reported smooth seas and some say they had a rough crossing .
i would think crossing the southern part of the Atlantic would be smoother in the spring. You never can tell!!!

we will be doing the Mia to BCN next March...I am hoping for smooth seas

It should be very calm. As I recall that crossing is very southerly, almost straight across from Barbados.
