We are thinking about an Eastern Med cruise next year and saw a pretty attractive itinerary on Nautica, so have spent some time perusing this board.
In William V's post from a couple months back he mentions light from the adjoining cabin coming around the walls. Not sure to what extent the light would bother but it certainly speaks to the construction of the cabins and obviously noise could be a problem.
Have others had this problem with light or noise (more than could normally be expected) from their neighbors?

We have had only 1 problem with noise from outside the cabin ...we were across from the reception door & when they would change shifts in the morning the door would bang but other than that no problems & I am a light sleeper.
Deck 8 you may hear the chairs being moves around from the pool area in the morning
We have taken 3 Oceania cruises and find them all GREAT! We did have some problems with air arrangements but it was mainly because of the airline.
I don't understand William V's comments. I'm sorry they had such a bad cruuise; however, I don't feel it was Oceania's falt. Reading between the lines, I feel they wouldn't be happy anywhere. I think they had a rare bad experence on their cruise.
The best I can say to you is to ignore V's comments and book your cruise. I know you will enjoy it.
