Default The Speech MSNBC did not show you

This black former congressman, Artur Davis, seconded the nomination of Barack Obama during the Democratic nomination in 2008.

This year he spoke at the Republican National Convention, but MSNBC did not show this to you.

I think EVERYONE should see this speech, and I am speechless that MSNBC cut it. I guarantee you that if I hear FOX cuts any speeches from the DNC I will watch the whole thing on CNN. What a crime.

I saw this man's speech, and it was wonderful.

I am not surprised that MSNBC cut it. They will do anything to get all viewers to vote Obama. To me that is not news reporting, but a continuation of the Demo's.

I miss the days when the news reported the conventions gavel to gavel, and people could make an informed pick of the canidates.

I look forward to next weeks speeches to see if Obama has a plan.

Obama has no plan and neither does Romney. The billionaires run this country and they are doing very well.
They will be better off with a Romney administration but not by much because they have congress in their pockets.

Paul,

I was watching the convention earlier tonight, and flipping between commercials and coverages.

MSNBC was broadcasting the speech of a black women democrat who served in Mitt Romney's state cabinet with him, singing his praises.

Flipped to Fox .. where Hannity was interviewing the Governor Perry (who, during the primary, had complained bitterly about the millions of $ in negative ads that "destroyed" him), now singing Mitt's praises as well.

I have not given up on this country at all. I am very happy and I love our place in Palm Coast, FL.

I just think that our politicians are too polarized and they don't have our country's best interests in their minds. All they do is vote along party lines.
We have a great country and we shall overcome the effects of our mis-guided politicians at spme time in the future.

That's great Kuki - but the speech by Artur Davis deserved to be seen by everyone - especially democrats - because he is a former Democrat and an African American.

The point is the accustions of racism. I am so sick of them I could spit, and MSNBC is more guility of dividing America along racial lines by fostering hate than any Republicans ever will be - and frankly it amazes me that no one here will admit how wrong it is to accuse people of what effectively amount to "thought crimes"

I am not racist and neither are the vast majority of Republicans - but I have never heard one democrat say - "Yes, you are right, it is wrong of the left to keep beating that drum" as if we have some sort of racist conspiracy going - it sounds as STUPID to us as they say the birther and socialism claim sound to them.

Paul...

I certainly get the "rascism" thing. It's a shame! No one should be called a racist except the racists.

It's a REALLY ugly thing, and you only only know how ugly when you've seen it, which I have.

You've commented on that in other posts and I get it. But this post seemed to be about the choices made by the cable networks on what to show.

I think they all have their slants, and plan out their coverage, sometimes with deference to their slant and sometimes they just plan to air what they think will bring them viewers.

You'd like to think Fox is on the right, and MSNBC on the left, and CNN more in the middle.

I don't know how it will be for the convention coverage, but oddly hardly anyone watches CNN anymore. They seem to want to hear and what it is they want to hear and see to validate their own opinions.

I honestly spend alot of time watching all them.

I am glad Manuel. We must never give up. Did you hear the speeches tonight?

By the way. My computer had an ugly virus in it, so I tried using the ignore button. I think it will work much better from now own.

Interesting when people have an opposing point of view they suggest that we do not love our country .
