Default Have you seen Obamacare rates?

I wish I had the nerve to go 6 months without insurance.

Full Obamacare will be a welcomed and needed option. Come on November.

I too have considered this option, I admit, but I couldn't find ANY information on the prescription coverage, co-pays, etc. But that was awhile back - I now see it has a 20% deducible with a max cap of $7,000 (that is a pretty high deductible)

Also keep in mind this program will be discontinued in 2014 and we do not yet know what the replacement program will be. That means you could risk going 6 months without insurance just to get on the plan only to find out in 15 months that you can't replace it with anything affordable.

The big flaw with Obamacare is that it is like Social Security for everyone, yet even SS is almost broke, so how can we pay for this?

Also - if covering pre-conditions is so easy, why did they put the "not insured for six months" requirement in there?

Full Obamacare kicks in in 2014 when this is phased out.

Congress would (will) extend it for as long as necessary once politicians start politicing.

The PPO is United Healthcare which is a great company and all of my doctors and GF doctors accept the PCIP plan.

7k is only if you go out of network and there really is no reason to, unless you want to. For that matter, if you go with the HSA option, you can fund those with a one time rollover from a 401k and not have to pay taxes on it. Everyone can be a Romney or a GE!

And there is info on the prescription drugs and more

SS will only go broke if we have idiots in Congress. It would be easy to fix SS with just a little common sense.

Common Sense....isn't that a foreign word in Washington DC?

If the lawmakers would refrain from using the SS funds as a slush fund for the general fund, it would survive easily.

It sure seems to be something that is very seldom used.
