Default Obama is between rock and hard place in Egypt

I keep on hearing that the legally elected president of Egypt has been removed by the military and will be replaced by another legally elected president. And that a possible consequence is that the Muslim Brotherhood renew the Egyptian civil war since a legally elected president was removed from office.

If his logic is followed as it is being done in Syria, the Moslem Brotherhood should be supplied with weapons to fight the Egytian army if violence should erupt.

However the Obama administration will not have to supply arms because the Muslim Brotherhood will be able to capture US supplied Egyptian army supplies.

We shall see how this situation resolves itself.

I just saw that the prcie of a drum of oil has reached its hightest price of the year today. New concerns about Mideast crisis. Is the Keystone oil line still being stonewalled?

If I understand it correctly, Syria, and Egypt are very different. Syria has a dictator, and he controls the military, and has sent them to fight the people.

Egypt got rid of their dictator, and elected a president, who has tried to become a dictator. Since in Egypt, the military works separately from the Gov. they saw what was happening and have removed him.

Morsi was part of the Brotherhood, and the brotherhood can put up another member of their group in the next election, as I am sure they will.

If they have another election, and let the people vote, then I would say their democracy is still working.

Morsi was elected to get rid of the lack of jobs, and restore tourism, and he has done none of that. He didn't do what he said he would do, and they got fireworks, green laser pointers, and took to the streets and got rid of him.

As far as the support given by Americans, it goes to the military.

As far as oil, I understand that they are not a big provider of oil to us, it is just the unrest that has upset the prices, or an excuse.

The Republicans and Big Oil will use any excuse to jack the prices. Is there any less oil being produced today than yesterday? No. There is no justification for the price increase. Only greed.

They ought to execute the whole lot of them.

I didn't know Republicans set prices. Is that what they really do, or is this a cheap way of trashing people?

Oil goes up at time and then it goes down.

There is no reason reason why it should be any higher today than it was a couple of days ago.
We have more oil available in he USA than we have capacity to refine it.
No one want a new refinery close to where they live so we pay the price at the pump that supply and demand plus greed dictates.

Big Oil and Republicans are in bed together. An indisputable fact.

Yes the Keystone project is stonewalled and new appointees by Obama will guarantee it does not pump oil. The funny thing now is that the price of oil should be going down because Iran will be dumping oil and Iraq is going to be dumping oil onto the marketl..
Instead we see the market price jumping. Today in the senate there was supposed to be a new Democrat sponsored bill to jump the tax on oil with all the good intent of rebuilding the infrastructure. You know who will recceive the benefits of this tax. Don't look for the Obama administration to allow the Republican states benefit from this tax.

People should remember how Obama got the Affordable Health Plan law through by giving favors to states for support of his law. Same thing will happen with highway money.
