I was reading an online article in the Texas Tribune, that Gov Rick Perry signed a decree that shuts down the State's administered High Risk sponsored Health Care Program and encouraging it's 225,000 participants to enroll in the ACA Health Exchange Marketplace (which since the State refused to set up it's on Exchange, the Federal Government has)
effective Jan 1st
The online article attributes Perry saying that particpants will have a better deal cost wise and coverage wise and that they should contact their current health provider under the State run program to enroll in the Federal program to avoid the 61 day gap in coverage and not have to go thru the Federal Exchange website
I was wondering if any CruiseMates who live in Texas can verify the article that was posted October 17th
Oh, I can't wait to hear the answers to this one!!
