I spent 6 months on the Yorktown Clipper - as a worker. It depends on what you're looking for if you'll enjoy it. I loved the more remote destinations, and being a worker, I didn't really need on board entertainment. This is not a ship for people who love glitz. There is no swimming pool, no casino, and a low lounge area to get a drink. The destinations are great for nature lovers. My favorite cruise was the Panama Canal and Costa Rica cruise by far. I never worked on any of the Alaska cruises, though the rest of the staff really liked those. Expect a low-key cruise with wonderful naturalists, not a party atmosphere. The average age is not young. They cator to the older, more educated passenger in a down-to-earth way.
