Has anyone sailed on MS Deutschland (Peter Deilmann)??

I'd like some personal input about the MS Deutschland. Has anyone sailed on this ship? What is the passenger mix (English-speaking vs German)? Any comments on the general cruise experience? Thanks! Sue

i have visited the ship in the uk to look around and it is one of the best
small ships. the decor and ambience on board is superb.
There is a high percentage of german passengers but the ship is bilingual so you should have no problems.

Did anyone ever reply to you? Did you take the cruise on the MS Deutschland? How was the boat if you did take a cruise on it? W e are discussing a trip to Dubai and the rest of the Red Sea on this ship. Thanks for help you can offer. Marv

Hi

No I have never sailed on her but visited a number of times, Had lunch and afternon tea on board and spent a long time looking around the ship.

Her decor is very art deco and the hardware and furnishings are in excellent condition.

On board prices for drinks and wine are very reasonable compared to some of the american cruise ships.

If you do decide to sail on her you will enjoy the experience.
