Has anyone travelled on the MV Athena (Travelscope)

Hi,

Has anyone travelled on the Athena recently, we are considering booking for the Norwegian fjords next May. If you have been on this ship what are the exterior cabins like for size ? - we thought about the Navigator deck where there are some cheapish cabins although there is limited (if any) view due to the lifeboats. We are not bothered by this as the next grade is low down in the ship with only a porthole.

Any info appreciated ...

Just back from 36 days on her, which should have been 34 but hit a big storm in the Bay of Biscay and diverted to Santander.
She ROLLS and that is not a typo!
Travelscope have stopped chartering her for "commercial reasons".
With hindsight that is probably for the best: no matter how hard the crew tries, and believe me they do try hard, she really does ROLL which tends to reduce any enjoyment you might have expected.
Cheap but not cheerful - spend a little more and go on a proper cruise!
