Has anyone been offered a "free 2 night" cruise with this company before. They said all I had to do is pay port taxes of $59 pp and I cruise free.
I was thinking scam so I said no thank you and hung up. Then called this cruise line and asked them if they were aware people were calling people telling them this and they said yes, they are an outside source and sell packages also. If you purchase the package and pay the port than you can call us and get a reservation....Imperial also told me that they were just an outside source selling their cruises for them. Does this sound fishy to anyone else of should I just go for it?

I believe different companies use them for promotional efforts. I took our best friends on it as their first cruise (now they are hooked) and Ramada was using them then as a hook for timeshare sales. The ship - if it's the same one - was built I believe around 1954 or somewhere around there but has been refurbished a few times. It was very clean and everyone was really nice, very small ship especially compared to any now.

yeah we are crusin Carnival Conquest next Spring but I was thinking the little Imperial cruise would be a cheapie and hold me over until the BIG one. Whatcha think?

GO FOR IT! There is nothing like a cruise (even a short one) to keep you going until your other ship comes in.
