Hubby and I are considering a summer Mediteranean cruise but don't want to break the bank. I've found amazing deals for the Sunbird and Sundream and was wondering what the ships are like. I can't seem to find any info online. I'd love to see a deck plan, etc. so if anyone can point me the way online I'd really appreciate it.
We got back from Celebrity Constellation last month and will be sailing on another large ship next winter. We really enjoy the big ship amenities but are more interested in seeing the ports for this itinerary so the ship is not the selling point of this cruise. We just don't want to be too dissappointed if its shabby or run down or there isn't a lot of activities to keep us busy while at sea.
Any comments on the entertainment, amenities, etc. would be really appreciated.
Thank you.

we were on the Sunbird in January...it is very nice...mostly British people onboard. It is a smaller ship but still very wonderful. I posted my report in January with more info there.
Just arrived back from Sunbird on March 13th. We sailed her in Dec. 2000 as well. Several of the staff remembered us from then! It is a smaller ship, and not a luxury vessel, but they treat you like royalty and want you to have a good time. Sundream is smaller than Sunbird. Never been on it. Sunbird has Canadian and British passengers. Brits are a blast. House band is terrific. We did the Caribbean Castaways itinerary. But we would have preferred one that took us to Curacao, St Lucia, Aruba instead of Santo Domingo. We were supposed to go to Catalina Island, but we ended up at SD instead which we did not like. We loved San Juan, though. And the rest of the trip. Have fun. They are going to Rio in the fall - 2 or 3 nights stay over, I think they said. Sundream in being sold, we heard. Have fun. Cyndi
