Default Eco Tourism - Antarctica Cruise

Hi Friends, These days eco tourism and theme cruises are becoming popular. I would like to know if anyone has cruising experience to Antarctica and how was it? Thanks.

Try this website, www.quarkexpeditions.com

They do cruises to the Antarctica, but its on Russian ice breakers, a bit of a different experience since they can go into the ice where as the cruise ships can't.

wow, I looked at the rates for these cruises, many times what a regular cruise is. I am holding out for HAL cruise from Rio to Valparaiso. It skims by antarctica. FL_TPA_1956SWM@yahoo.com

An Antarctica cruise can be expensive, but is well worth the price for the once in a lifetime experience. Here are a list of cruise operators that may be helpful:

Good luck.....

Hello. Saw your post and regretfullycan't help with your Antarctica question...but we did sail amoungst the icebergs on a fantastic environmental expedition aboard the Wanderbird. Their website is www.wanderbirdcruises.com and we highly reccomend them.
