Default Question about bottom fishing in Freeport

My teenage son wants to go bottom fishing in Freeport - my question is, if you catch anything, what do you do with it? Are you given a cooler to bring it back to the ship with? If it's edible, can you have the ship's chef cook it up for you that night? Or, is it just "catch and release?" Trying to decide between that and the dolphin encounter in Freeport. Thanks!
