Booking rip off

Has any had same as us.me and wife booked 14 months ago at co-operative travel in macclesfield .we was told that there was price promise .book early as booking till about 2 weeks before would be no differance,so we payed 1779 each as there said it would not go down at all if it you would get it back in on board credit or upgrade cabin.much to my horror 2 weeks before we where going they have called it get away .the same cruise as use for 999 and upgrade to a balconey what a rip off .we are now 1560 out of pocket and p&o do not want to now about my complaint ,have been to co op travel and they are not happy about this .
This is are 3rd cruise with p&o never again .going on azura 15th of november to barbados .hope to hear from people with the same problem. Keith & deborah harrison

Sorry, most of us can't figure out your money, we see things in dollars.

You must have written in anger here, because it's difficult to figure what you are saying other than we can figure you feel or was rooked.

Perhaps some of our UK friends can help. I'm not familiar with the concept of a travel co-op.

I do know that Carnival, part of the same group, offers an Early a Saver fare that acts like what I think you are describing. You have to book this fare specifically in order to benefit from future price drops.
