Default Drink costs etc

We are first time cruisers. Can someone advise what the average costs amount to for the "extra" drinks etc? Are the drink prices any more expensive than a typical restaurant? Will your room stewart get them for you at Mid night?

While not "Happy Hour Pricing" drink prices are pretty much in line with land based lounges. How much u can spend in a week is another matter, and can add up if u get partying.
U can order drinks from room service , no problem.

Boomer,
Yes, the drinks are actually reasonably priced and they do have the 24 hour horizon court that you can always get something. You will have to check on the hours of room service, but you can probibaly get something that way too.

Boomer,

On Princess, sodas and juices from bar service are $1.50. Alcoholic beverages are somewhat more expensive. Beverages on the buffet (Horizon Court on the new ships) and non-alcoholic beverages in the main dining rooms are complementary. There's also 24-hour room service, which is complementary. Room service will bring anything on the menu of the main dining rooms during meal hours, and a more limited menu is available at any time of day or night.

Norm.

Boomer,

Sorry to post again, but I forgot to mention that Princess automatically adds a gratuity of 15% of the bill to all bar tabs. Bar purchases include the $1.50 soft drinks obtained from the bars.
