Default Ocean Princess/S. Carribean 12/10/00

This will be our 2nd cruise and our friends first. What can you tell us about the mini-suites.
Also what excursions do we want to be sure to sign up for? Our husbands want to golf. Which golf course do they want to golf at??

You might check the "Caribbean" board under "Destinations" for information on the various ports of call. Unfortunately, she is swapping itineraries with MV Dawn Princess for this winter season so I probably have not been to any of her ports of call except St. Thomas. In St. Thomas, though, I highly recommend the Champagne Catamaran Sailaway to St. John. I took that excursion last March, and I'm looking forward to taking it again when I return to St. Thomas aboard MV Sun Princess in September. It definitely is worth the $96 fee (which, BTW, is less expensive than the fee if $118 for golf at Mahogany Run, so your husband will have no basis to complain!).

BTW, do wear your bathing suit under your street clothes on this one. You will have plenty of time for either swimming or snorkeling when the catamaran anchors off St. John. The crew of the catamaran will provide a complementary snorkel lesson and equipment for your use.

MV Ocean Princess is a magnificent ship. Do enjoy!

60 days before departing go to ( Princess.com) you can look or book your excursions along with entering credit card and immigration info. By going to Princess' Captain's Circle page if you have your booking number.
We'll be sailing with you. Can't hardly wait to sail.

You are absolutely right, though access to the booking area of the web site is a little convoluted. You have to go to the home page (http://www.princess.com), select "Captain's Circle" from the menu at the top right, then scroll down to the bottom ofthe page and click on the words "click here" of the sentence that tells you to "click here" to review booking information, reserve shore excursions, etc. The rest is relatively straightforward. You "log in" with your name and booking number, whereupon the site will display your booking information. There's a button at the bottom of the booking information for shore excursions and a menu across the bottom of the page to select forms for entry of immigration and emergency contact information, special diets, etc.
