Balcony partitions on Sun?

Simple question: Are the balcony partitions on the Sun able to be opened? Thanks in advance.

I once got upgraded to a balcony stateroom aboard MV Sun Princess, and did not notice any obvious way to open the balcony partitions. It probably is possible to remove them with a few basic hand tools (i. e. a screw driver and a socket wrench), but I don't guarantee that the ship will be very eager to do this.

The balcony partitions can be opened by your room steward.

I read a post some time ago about the room steward opening the balcony partitions for two couples travelling together who had adjoining rooms.
