Hi everybody,

does somebody know how this patisserie place works? Does it work like a
regular bar where you pay for your beverages? Do you pay for pastries too?

Thanks much,

RE: Patisserie
Coffee and pastries are free. You have to pay for mixed or soft drinks. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my wife says the coffee is much better here than the dining room or the buffet. In the afternoon, try the marzipan.

RE: Patisserie

The patisserie offers a variety of specialty teas ("Mint Smoother" is a favorite) and coffees, all free of charge. There's a tray set out with finger of pasteries baked on board, which also are free of charge.

RE: Patisserie
The Patisserie's are great! I would try a different tea every day and the coffee is definitely WAY better than the buffet. I like coffee but haven't been on a ship yet that had decent coffee at their deck cafe. As much as I've written about being less than thrilled with the Crown's exterior and interior design, I had tea or coffee from the Patisserie every time I walked by (which was very often as my stateroom was just around the corner from there!) RE: Patisserie
The marzipan is wonderful. I've never liked it anywhere else, but I couldn't get enough on Princess!
