We are going on the Sun thru the Panama Canal on Feb 14. After getting our excursion info, we tried many times to order ours on line. Our T.A. told us people were having lots of trouble ordering on line; so we called Princess and they confirmed this. They said we could not do it on the phone; and advised us to fax it in, which we did. Has anyone else had problems? Will we have to wait till we get on the ship to find out if we got our requested excursions?
Also, another nonrelated question, please. Do we use the laundry service or can we have it done for us?
You should have the option of using the coin operated washer and dryer, or sending your laudry to be dry cleaned. It is nice to have these options, even an ironing board for your convenience just down the hall.
You sound get a conformation on your excersions when you get your final documents. We were able to book ours early too and when we got to our cabin, all the tickets were right there on the desk.
There is a laundry service, where you send it out to be laundered and there is also self-serve laundry on each quest floor. It really comes in handy and you may not have to pack as much. I actually did a load of wash while cruising earlier this year and it was kind of nice to not go home with totally dirty clothes in the luggage :-)
