Default Sea Princess

Would like a review from anyone who has recently sailed on the Sea Princess. Also, besides the two formal evenings how many others are informal and casual?

When are you sailing we are going on 2/17/01. I understand there is 2 formal and 2 semi nights the rest are casual. They don't announce 2nd formal until on board. First one is 2nd night out.

On a one week cruise there are usually two formal, one semi-formal, and the rest - casual nights.

Hi SF,
Here is a recent members review of "Sea Princess" from December. I also think you will be impressed by this class of ship. Have a great cruise!

BTW, when were cruised on "Ocean Princess" there were 2 formal, 2 simi-formal and the rest casual.

We just finished a cruise on the Sea on 1/6. The ship was great but the cruise wasn't. The weather wasn't that great. We had 2 formal and 2 semi formals. The food was very good as well as most of the entertainment. The CD was Peter and he wasn't bad. Between Peter, Kelvin and Mary they will keep you entertained. If you have any question please e-mail at vfxer@aol.com

Thanks Mike! I checked out the site you gave me, & the weather doesn't seem to be bad right now & for next week. Sorry you had such bad weather - hope we get luckier. Exactly how was the weather bad? Was it rainy, or just cold?

SF,

On a Saturday to Saturday cruise, the formal nights ordinarily are Sunday and Thursday.

We just returned from the Sea Princess. The weather couldn't have been better although we were told that the past 5 cruises left a lot to be desired. One could not tender at Cayman.
The formal nights are Sunday and Thursday. For the first time ever, I saw shorts in the dining rooms on casual nights. But, for the most part people still dress up even for casual.

Gee, currie89, what part of the ship were you on...weather couldn't have been better? Did you sail on the 20th because it was raining that night, and the only sunny days were at sea and one sunny evening after Grand Cayman where we anchored on the other side of the island? It was cool and a coverup came in handy from time to time. Excursions were cancelled because of rough seas. Could have been warmer but at least it wasn't raining and not too hot that we had to complain about that!

Hi,

We sailed 01/27. Weather was great. Ship was great. Shows were good. If you like R&R you can get plenty of it. The fridge in the room with the ice is a nice touch as you can take your own beverages.

If you like to excercise they have a great excercise room. And the five hot tubs and five pools were great. We went to the pool and hot tub every night at 10:30 and we were only ones there.

The slots seem to pay off fairly well in the Casino if you are into that.

The crew was very courteous.

One last thing if the stage hypnotist is doing shows go. It was hilarous especially as I conned one of my friends into going on the stage.

Hope you have a great cruise. And by the way the 2 formal and one semi-formal night are no big deal. Just dress nicely.

Have a great time.

SB
