Does anybody know what the configuration is for the aft mini-suites on Sea Princess? The brochure shows 2 different configurations for mini-suites: one has a separate door to the balcony from the bedroom and the sitting room. I'm thinking that's for the aft cabins but don't know for sure.
We checked out the mini suites on the Dawn - Baja deck. The mini suites that run the sides of the ship have 2 doorways to the balcony from both the sitting room and the bedroom. The aft minisuite on the Baja deck had one doorway leading to the balcony from the sitting room. The closet was on the wall of the bedroom that led to the balcony, thus, you had to go into sitting room to get to balcony. If I remember correctly, the doorway to bedroom was on an angle so that you could look out to the balcony from the bedroom. I believe the configuration of the aft mini suites varies depending on the deck.
Take a look at a 360 tour on Sun Princess we were in a Aft Mini Suite this will help you. <http://www.mytravelco.com/cruises/cruiseship/360/cruiseships.asp?Media_Type=1&brand=1&SN=803&SC=SP>
My family has sailed in the midships AC mini-suites and later in an aft AB mini-suite on the Sea Princess. Overall, the Cat AC was superior, even though it is a lower cabin grade in the brochure. We like having access to the balcony from both the bedroom and sitting area - not so in the aft mini. We also found it much more conveniently located - it is a long walk to the back of the ship by the time you've done it all week! Most of all, the midships minis do not have the vibration that was a real annoyance to us in the aft mini. We were awakened every morning by the worst vibration we had ever experienced in any cabin. On the plus side for the aft mini-suites: the balcony is larger, the view and sound of the ships wake is incredible, and the appointments are more luxurious. But for overall comfort, we will go back to the midships cat. AC mini-suites next time!

Good point. Something to think about. We're really jazzed about having an aft cabin, though. On our last cruise, we found we loved hanging out back there and thought it would be great to have a cabin there. Maybe next time we'll try one of the AC mini-suites because we would like to have access to the balcony from both areas. Tough choice. Thanks for your help.
