Sun Class Ships

I've noticed on a few posts and reviews, that some people prefer one ship to another i.e Dawn to Sea etc do they mean that the service was maybe better then the other one or the food or are there more differences in the ship then I thought, I thought they were exactly the same apart from the names of the bars etc even down to the colour of the carpet. Please let me know the differences if there are any thank you.

Having only been on "Ocean" Princess I thought she was a beautiful ship and I really love doing the southern itinaries. Just look at the different ports and decide by that, unless that is not a factor. From all the reviews I've read all seem to be nice ships. I found the food and service on Ocean to be excellent, would go on here again any time. Enjoy what ever Princess ship you end up cruising on :-)

Last May I sailed on the Dawn from Acapulco and the Sea Princess was docked behind us. I took the opportunity to tour the Sea Princess- you are right- the ships are identical apart from some very minor differences. I noticed that the decorating in a few public areas was different (mainly wall or carpet colors) and the pool deck had a slightly modified layout- nothing major. The only only thing I noticed was the enclosed bridge wings on the Sea (the Dawn's bridge wings are open-air and the passengers can look down and talk with the captian as he is pulling out of port). Essentially the ships are the same- maybe people have liked the crew or service better on one sun-class ship more than others.
