Has anyone got their P.A.D.I certificate whilst on Princess, thinking of doing it on our next cruise (Dawn Princess, Southern Caribbean) didn't know how much time out of the day it took, how long were the open water dives, and just any information from someone who has actually got their certification whilst on board. Was thinking about doing the whole thing on the ship rather then part of it in England as it works out very expensive, much cheaper to do the whole thing on board any help would be great thank you.

I was certified many years ago but watched the SCUBA instruction with great interest. They suggest that you do all the book work at home, which makes a lot of sense. They do very careful, extensive pool work. I couldn't tell you about the open water work since I no longer am allowed to dive.
