Doesn't anyone go on the Regal? We have heard wonderful things about Regal/Alaska and can't wait for our cruise in June. All the boards appear to be about the other ships...am I missing something?
You can see pictures of the Regal "A" mini suite, "AA" Suite and BF Outside/Verandah at www.whynottravel.netTxRose wrote:

I am beginning to wonder as well TxRose. I can't get answers about Regal anywhere. I heard from a friend about the Crown but that was it. I'm now wondering about this cruise if no one else has ever been on it. Unless....we will be the only passengers on the ship...then we will have lots of attention.

I and four other members of my family were on the Regal to Alaska three years ago and loved it. It doesn't have the Glitz the larger Princess has but we loved the intimacy of it. The service was superb as was the entertainment. Went on the Dawn the next year to Alaska and loved it too. You will not be disappointed in the Regal. Helen
Hi,
My sister & I cruised on the Regal last May from Hawaii to Tahiti - 12 days. It was wonderful! You will love it! The ship is beautiful, inside and out. The staff is friendly and helpful and fun! We were shadowed by a Ren ship and it was the same story in every port - " Are you on the pretty white ship or the ugly black barge/ (meaning the R4) "
We had a balcony cabin w/ lots of room and the food was great.
I have booked another cruise on her next Feb. to New Zealand & Australia , I have a mini-suite this time (my sister has a lot of shoes!) and we wanted a larger balcony.
Give her a try. You won't be disappointed.
Regards, Suzie
Hi TxRose!
We did our first cruise on Regal to Alaska (long time ago - 1996)
and are returning to Alaska on Dawn this year. Regal is super nice. One suggestion - IMHO you can go forward on Baja deck and get the best view of the glaciers! You have to wind around a little to find the outside door - but it's really great. I found out about it on Cruise2 before we left.
