We still have no cabin assignment. When we booked all they had was N guarantee. Does anyone have any stories if this has happened to them. We have checked with our TA and the Princess Web site. Still no cabin assigned.
Any info would be helpful.

They may not give a cabin # till you get to the Pier...Sometimes this happends.
Most of the time it does not. Seems like in your case it is. This could be a good thing though. Let us know what happends.
As you know we are on your sailing (the first of three back-to-backs). I originally booked a specific stateroom (A743) last July for all three cruises, but switched the first, 12-day Panama Canal cruise to a cat. N guarantee at New Years. I could never access the booking pages at Princess' website because of the linked bookings - the program won't allow it. I too was curious as to our room assignment when we had not received our docs. by the beginning of last week and phoned Princess...the rep. looked it up, and we have been assigned A743 for all three, i.e. they gave us a six cat. upgrade back to the original room - we won't have to switch rooms in Acapulco! Try phoning 1-800-PRINCESS.

The later you've assign, the better cabin you're going to get. That's always the rule!
Last Sept. we were on Hal "Zaandam and did not got assigned til the last minute. Sure enough we had upgrade to a Deluxe Ocean Cabin (for a inside rate).
Tip: Don't try to call the cruise line and rush them to assign the cabin, you'll end up miss a good chance to upgrade in a good one.
