Default Coral Miniature Golf

Is there a fee for miniature golf on the Coral and if so, what is it?

No fee for the miniature golf - yes to a fee for the virtual golf ... have no idea what it is.

Don't get too excited for their miniature golf if it's anything like the Star Princess. They designed it with so many rolling hills etc. that virtually every shot rollded into a wall or a rock. And that's without the ship moving. Many people just gave up after scorring a 12 on the first hole or two. It was fun for about 10 minutes.

I was just curious because I saw it mentioned. There probably is a better use for this space but someone feels this adds something to the trip. It's not the kind of item that would convince me to go on this ship. (G) But I'll see for myself in a few days.

Had the hardest time finding it because it's inside behind a door ... just looked - and it did seem to have a lot of hills. It's right next door to the virtual golf.

Yes, I looked at the site that has all the Coral photos and it didn't look like it had a lot of hills. However, it looks like it is housed in some kind of shut in area.

no charge for the mini golf- not to many hills. but the golf simulator you have to reserve a time at $20.00/half hour!! make friends with rodney the cruise director and he'll give you free time and if you like to go out at night he'll even buy you drinks!

Rodney's NOT the cruise director (that's Brian) - he's not even the Assistant CD - that's Gavin and Donna. He's one of the staff. Suspect you have to be a young pretty female to get the deal you mention including the free drinks!!!

Actually minature golf on the Coral was quite good. It's not the bank off the boards and bounce off a lighthouse type, but rather, a good you need the line and weight with many little curves and breaks type. We played almost every day, but then we like golf! The putting is fairly realistic and no charge! The golf simulator was o.k. but too pricey. $20 for a half hour goes by real fast. Rodney runs a closest to the PIN and a longest drive contest in the simulator and if you can shoot 24 or less on the par 21 mini-put you qualify for the Ryder cup which was good fun and they gave out medals! No free drinks from Rodney. He wasn't our type!

Oops. forgot to mention, take the elevator that's between the Lotus and Lido Pools,
only one that goes up to Princess links, simulator and Mini-Put. Seemed like a
good use for some out of the way space to us!

P.S. You'll love the Coral. A very classy ship, tons of public space and very well done.

Where did this come from on this thread? I didn't see any mention of Rodney before. BTW, we enjoyed Rodney very much - he was a lot of fun. Gavin seems too much taken up with himself. As for either of them, I don't think a young pretty female would have any chance with them, if you know what I mean. (G)

If you check Michele's posting of April 25, you'll see she mentions that Rodney is the cruise director and will give you free time and will even buy you drinks ... that's where it came from. Agree with you about Gavin.

I missed that when I scanned the messages. The date helped as I was looking for a capitalized name in my scanning. Thanks.

The odds are with it. (G) It doesn't really matter to me, we had a great time with him. He and my wife teased each other a lot.
