Default Questions: Slots and drinks

I'm pretty sure I've thought of everything in getting ready for our 5/20 cruisefest, but It would be nice to know a couple of things.
1: I read somewhere that the Grand slots are sort of tight. Anybody out there net- win anything on them?
2: Does Princess provide the plastic koozie type sip cups shown in this photo?

I have no idea who these people are.

Hi Ed,
Yes, you can get those cups, believe you can even buy them in the ship store. We were able to get some on our last cruise, Explorer, on their private beach, with a yummy drink too :-) We did see them on Ocean last year as well, just something you've got to bring home.

As for the slots, I never have good luck with them, but my husband George usually comes out a bit ahead, except for this last cruise Oh, well, you can't win them all, some people have the luck.

Ed,

My wife and I just got back from the Grand this past Sunday. The first 5 days I would have told you to stay away, very far away from the slots as my wife was losing a bundle. But then, that last Saturday night, she made it all up and then some. We came away winners at slots for the cruise. However, I would not think it has the best odds in the casino to say the least. But, we came out ahead anyway.

I hope you have even better luck!

Keith

As for the slots, for whatever reason, in March I actually one 800 dollars. In the interests of coming out ahead, the next day was St Thomas, and I purchased a bracelet with my winnings. they were slightly ahead, but not more than $80.

I heard once from a wise, old, but not retired gambler, that cruise ships reset their slots after each trip. HMMMM....
Probably just an old fools tale who didn't know his slot from a hole in the water.
