Default Western or Eastern Carib?

Anyone know which princess cruise in mid january will typically have a younger crowd?

any other comments or preferences about itinerary are welcome

Also, according to an earlier poster, Majahual (Costa Maya) doesn't sound so fun.

Hi Dave,
Its hard to say which itinary will have a younger crowd in Jan, east or west. There is a bit more water sports and such on the Western, more shopping on the Eastern if thats any help. I myself prefer the Eastern, but thats just me, but if you've never been to any of the western islands, its a must do at least once, loved Grand Cayman and snorkeling with the Sting Rays, its awesome and Dunns River falls in Jamaica if you are stoping there? I too have heard that Costa Maya is nothing to write home about, but you sometimes have to see for yourself.

Have fun deciding, what ships are you looking at?

Princess generally attracts an "older" crowd, although you never indicated just how "younger a crowd" you were referring to. Neithern eastern or western is any younger over the other.

Eastern is usually a little bit less expensive than western and will attract a slightly younger crowd. If you're sailing the Grand or Golden, the ships are so big that you'll find all ages onboard.
