Default Princess Cays

Can someone describe this for me? How's the beach (white sand & clear water?). Do they have jetskiis and other water equipment for rent (if so, how much?). Is lunch included -- how is this handled (similarly to RCI's Labadee?

Thanks!

Beach is nice, lots of lounge chairs and lots of different areas to sit. Nice clean washrooms, and other facilities. Small gift shop. Water is clear, but some areas are rocky and when we were there, had sea urchins. Jet skis for rent but don't know how much. Also have floats for rent. Buffet lunch is served. Just make your way over to the food service area at lunch time. You can take your plate back to your beach chair.

Actually, jet skis are unfortunately not for rent anymore at Princess Cays. When we were there last month, we inquired about them and were told that they discontinued them for safety purposes. That was a bummer for us!

Here is my quote from my review of the Grand Princess last March. Sorry to learn the jet ski's are no longer available, but there are sail boards, bannana boat rides, snorkel equipment, etc. Plan to wear Aqua Shoes too just to be on the safe side as there is coral in various lagoons. Have a wonderful cruise.

Ports of Call: We choose this itinerary to relax. We have been to all of the ports and still the very best day of the week is on Princess Cay. The water was warm, there were plenty of hammocks and lounges and bar service was initially attentive. However, the lines were very long at the barbecue and they stopped serving at 1 p.m. Hagen Daz too tried to sell their ice cream there.

Bon Voyage

Actually they should get rid of the banana boat rides instead of the jet skis - nearly got killed on a banana boat ride 2 years ago.

While Princess Cays is alright. And all the ships have their own very private island, I would prefer not to stop at the private island and just have another casual day at sea. But that's just me.
