Princess now says there will be compensation for c
Apparently Princess has changed its position with regard to our cancelled Regal, April 11, (Bangkok - Rome) cruise, and has told our TA there will be some compensation for the cancellation (but have not yet decided their 'official policy' and what form the compensation will take).
We were automatically re-booked by the computer on the new, April 27, (Tokyo - San Francisco); and they are apparently looking to link the original booking to yet another cruise with an itinerary closer to the original. I must confess I don't really understand this - but it sounds like we may be given a choice - Australia/Far East?
I never expected much, and even 'token' compensation goes a long way to change feelings (and mitigate having to change all the post-cruise plans made for Rome).
