I can't help with the shore excursions but we are doing the same cruise on 1/25/02. i would love to hear what you thought of the cruise and what you did for excursions. sorry i can't be of help to you!!!!!

Cheryl; We took two shore excursions on this cruise in November. In Cartagena, we took the Spanish History & Fort Boccachica tour. Liked it because it was by small boat (40 or so passengers) right from the dock. They went around the harbor and next to the walled old city and then went out to the fort. In Limon, we took the Costa Rican Adventure tour. If you want to take this one, book it online at the Princess web site as it was sold out on the ship. We especially liked the eco-jungle cruise on the Tortuguero Canals. Saw all sorts of birds, monkeys, crocodiles, & a snake! Aerial tram was a nice ride through the rain forest although didn't see many animals. Included lunch was good. Did not take any other tours although pictures of those who went to visit the Embera Indian tribe in Panama looked interesting. Have a great trip. Tim

We are taking this cruise on Feb 4th and are traveling with 70 year old parents. Is the Adventure tour in Limon soemthing taht they would be able to do. They get along well, but can't do alot of climbing or extensive walking. Were there any beach or snorkeling tours offered in Cartegan or Limon? Thanks Karen
