Help, can anyone give us information about Uvero Beach in Costa Maya. We are interested in the Jungle Beach Break tour and are wondering about this beach. Has anyone been there through the Princess line. What type of transportation is used and how long of a trip is it to this beach. Is this the beach that is real rocky?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Can not find any info on the internet.

While my husband and son went to the pyramids, I took the tour to this
beach. It was about a 30 minute bus ride in a nice newer bus. The beach
is not rocky. There are plenty of lounge chairs and paddle boats. There is a nice building housing changing rooms with a big open area for eating
and drinking. All your drinks, soft drinks, water are included in price.
I left the ship at 10:00 and came back for lunch at 2:00. This was the first bus back to the ship. Some crafts are sold there on the beach. No hard
pressure to buy. Plenty of staff to help you. There are also beach games
if you want to join in. I enjoyed the day very much. The area was new
and clean. You could have lunch there if you wanted or return to the ship.
The only caution I would give..circle around the vendors in the port if you
do not want to be hassled. I understand some Spanish and some of the
vendors were not being exactly polite when yelling at you. My shore
excursion was arranged by Celebrity Cruiselines. Have a good time.
