I've seen several posts on this, but want to clarify...is it true you can bring 3-4 bottles of wine from home for enjoyment in your stateroom or in dining room for $10 corkage fee, but you cannot bring hard liquor. Beer and wine okay to bring, just not liquor?
Whatever you want to bring, pack it in your luggage NOT carryon. We brought 1 btl VO and a case of beer in our luggage, no problems. Even bought rum in port and carried right past customs (by misteak) No problems. They are looking for bigger boggey men.

Please clarify the PC Dining. We have chosen PC dining for our 7 day first cruise next month on the Golden. Is the $6.50 charge p/person included in our $10.00 automatic credit card charge per day for two people for the total fee for the seven day cruise, or is the $6.50 above that. We have calculated $140.00 for the week for all of our tips and I am hoping that is including the dining part of it.
In regards to the wine....we just went on the Sea Princess last week, and we took a case of wine, taped our room tag on it, and there was no problem...it was a case box that the wine came in. We then took a bottle each nite to personal choice dining, and the corkage fee of $10 was charged each nite. Hope that helps.
