Hey Fla Jack,
You may find the information about parking through this link, good luck:

I did notice when there a few weeks ago the covered parking garage was right across the street and depending on the amount of luggage you have, you can easily walk there from the pier.

Just off Golden, I believe Pier #2, with parking garage right there. It was very easy to drop bags off & walk to ship. They take credit cards for payment. However, the pickup involved a very long wait in a very long line after you got your car and came round for the bags. Not a great ending to an otherwise outstanding cruise, but not terrible, either. Endings to cruises are never fun!

Princess generally, NOT always, berths at Pier 2, at the North Port Garage. It is really quite convenient. Best way to do it... get a Porter to take you and your bags to the garage elevator. Tip the porter... take the elevator up to the level your car is parked on... one of you stay with the bags and the other get the car and drive it over to load up. Taking the car out of the garage and trying to make a pier side pickup makes no sense and will take forever. This is the best way to do it!

On our first cruise last year we drove down from NE FL & had no problem following directions to the garage. The only problem came when there were no porters in sight, so we carried our 5 bags (luckily one on wheels, everything loaded on it or on us) down the elevator, couldn't find anyone (still) to tell us where to drop our bags & ended up carrying them ALL on board ship. As soon as we were on board someone took them & us to our cabin. We were embarrassed & knew we looked like first-timers, but we got over it.
Some passengers didn't get their bags til 10:30 that nite. The restaurants lift the dress code for departure day & you can wear shorts, since so many people don't have their bags yet. So, since we now knew we could carry all those bags, we picked them up at the terminal & carried them back to the car. We didn't have to wait in line to pay at the garage, so I guess it was worth that. We paid with a credit card, no problem.
