I have a question for those who have gone to Princess' private island. I understand that if you go to the right when getting off the tender, you have a quieter, less crowded beach. My question is are there chaises (sp?) and/or hammocks over there and secondly do they serve the barbeque and drinks over there?
Beach, swim, snorkel, volleyball, wonderful kids play area(supervised play), food, more food, did I say food, Princess run gift shop, straw market type vendors, cruise staff organized games , water toys, sun , sand. What else do you go on vacation for?
We were on the island 2 weeks ago & did the 1 hour Hobie cat lesson/sail & the banana boat ride. Both were really fun. (I'm not sure my husband would do banana boat ride again, you really get bounced around!) The island is beautiful. They even had a pool table! Lots and lots to do or you can just relax.
A2Bob....quick question...are you from Ann Arbor, Michigan?? Just guessed by reading your username....I used to live in Ann Arbor, but moved to Adrian. A2 is way too expensive....
Take a book, go for a long walk, play in the water, RELAX! It is beautiful. You can also get your hair braided in addition to what everyone else has said.
