I know that policies for bringing your own liquor on board are being enforced quite strictly. The question I have is if you purchase a Bon Voyage Gift from Princess of liquor, is it in your cabin on embarkation day. I know it is with wine and other goodies.
The prices are not that much more for a 750 Ml bottle of Beefeater Gin or Jack Daniels than it is here in the overtaxed state of Minnesota.
Yes, it will be in the room... you can also order bottles from room service anytime during the cruise. They will not allow you to take duty-free alcohol purchased onboard to your room - but they have no problem if you pay retail price... kind of shoots the hell out of their PR BS that the new alcohol policy is to cut down on people over-consuming!
Hey Mike
I have never seen anyone refused a drink on a cruise even if it means carrying you back to your cabin. Just don't get out of line or they could lock you in your cabin until the end of the cruise.
See you on board.
Cheers.
