Butler service in suites and mini-suites

I remember reading about butler service if you are in a suite or mini-suite. Does anyone know if this is still available? Also, does Princess put flowers in the suites and mini-suites? What other little perks can we expect when having a suite or mini-suite? Thanks.

Linda,
On Princess Dawn this spring , with mini suite, we didn't get flowers in the room. The butler was available if we needed something, but didn't show up at 4 with the tea and crumpets as on Celebrity. I liked the room better on the Dawn than on Celeb Millenium, but the service wasn't as nice. It's nice to be pampered, but really the difference wasn't that extreme.

I know Princess has discontinued butler service in the mini suites. Honestly not sure if it continues in full suites.

We didn't have a butler earlier this July on the Sea Princess. We had a mini suite. We met some people that had the full suite, and they didn't have one either. I think Princess has discontinued that service.

I don't have any pictures that will help you out. Sorry. Most of them are just of me looking stupid! We were in Baja 332.

Linda,
You can see my mini by going to the Photo Galleries and searching for "backman's alaska".

Linda,
No butlers. Beautiful flowers in the suites. I hadcabin C746 on Caribe deck on the Ocean Princess. Every afternoon around 4 you receive canapes and a copy of the dining room menu. Princess slippers, and toiletries that are in bottles instead of packets. ANYTHING you want for breakfast- just write on the room service ticket you receive every night and the time and voila! to the minute! Have breakfast on the enormous balcony. It was worth every dollar.

Linda,
Can't remember room number, but it was midship on the Baja deck. I guess no tea and crumpets because there wasn't a butler. I forgot about that. The room steward was very helpful when ever we needed anything though.
Sorry I don't have pictures- Room was very nice actually 2 rooms divided by curtain area, large shower and separate whirlpool tub and double size deck.

Re: Re: Re: Butler service in suites and mini-suites

We have had both a Mini and a Full Suite on the Dawn. In addition to Suxie's comments about a Full Suite, you also receive an initial bar set up. If you receive liquors you don't drink , you may switch them for something you prefer.
In a full suite you can wait in your room until your departure time when disembarking instead of waiting in the public area.
In a full suite you may also order dinner in your cabin selecting foods from the main dining room menus.
Hope that helps. Enjoy.
