Itt,

You can find out if you have received a complementary upgrade on the "Cruise Personalizer" section of the Princess Cruises web site (http://www.princess.com). For changes in fares, you can check the "specials" section of the Princess Cruises web site and the web sites of various cruise discountes, etc. Note, however, that you probably cannot take advantage of any discounts announced after the deadline for a full refund of your deposit upon cancellation (usually either sixty or seventy-five days before the start of the cruise, depending upon your itinerary).

Norm.

Hello,

If you have booked through a travel agent, have them call the crusie line to check for fare decreases. I am an agent and I routinely check with the cruise lines for any drop in price. You will receive the discount no even if you are only one day from the date of sailing. I have personally saved clients up to $200 per person by checking. The closer to the date of sailing, if the ship isn't sold out, the more chance of getting a drop in price. Keep in mind, however, that if you have been upgraded to a higher category, requesting the lower fare, may affect your cabin assignment. Good luck.
