jacquie:
I cannot answer any questions on the mini-suites, but if you have specific questions, please ask. I sailed on her last January and will be again this Thanksgiving. When in November will you be sailing?

Just came back 22sep on grand. We had a mini and it was more then enough room for two. Lots of closet space and inclosed shelfs. A tub with shower was nice for when both of you wanted to jump in at the same time. Plenty of counter space and shelfs in bathroom. Large balcony. Yes its open on the dolfin deck, but I tell you it doesn't matter. The most I ever saw people was when pulling in and out of port. It was fun to chat with everyone. At night most are asleep or in the casino or shows so you don't see anyone. After having a mini it will be hard book anything but.
We were on the Golden last November and are going again Saturday. We were in a balcony cabin on the Baja deck. A friend of mine from work had a mini suite on the Emerald deck. I would have liked the larger bathroom. But we had more than enough room for the two of us with the regular balcony cabin.
Post again what specific types of pointers you'd like. I may know the answer.
Hi Jacquie, I just came off the Golden from a New England cruise on the 21st of September. I had a mini suite on the emerald deck (E725). I picked this cabin, because it is only 1 of 12 mini suites with a full covered balcony. It was on the back of the ship, so you could hear some noise when the ship was coming into port. On the Grand last year we had a mini suite, and the only problem was a loud sqeaking noise coming from the devider between the bed and the living area. We got use to this after the first night. You can mail me if you have any other questions. Scott
Golden is a wonderful boat. We went last year in Dec. and will go again this year. We like personal choice but dining is just not a worry whatever you choose. 4 pools and lots of hot tubs make this our favorite ship. Other lines lockup tubs in the evening, not Princess. Go and enjoy!
